Canaries Sweetly Singing

Martha Stewart has done it again, she featured images of some of her pets and I fell in love with this amazing bird cage and her stunning birds. I am of course a huge pet freak, but I've never had any birds....now I'm craving some:

Potpourri of Polish

Does anyone else just love rainbows? I get a visceral sensation of joy when people organize things by color, so I absolutely swooned when I saw this nail polish layout on Refinery29.

There's something totally amazing about this resurgence in bold colored nail polishes. It seems like just a few years ago we were restricted to nudes, pinks, and reds - now I even see grandma's on the subway rocking chartreuse nails. Of course my Mom still reacts with horror when she sees any color outside the canon on my hands, but you can't win them all!

Don't tell my boyfriend, but I've been having a thrilling, passionate love affair- with the color yellow. I'm sure that you've noticed that it is the ubiquitous color of the season, so I guess I'm falling victim to trends, but I'm craving yellow all the time now. From rich almost orangey shades of saffron to wispy lemony hues I want them all! What I love about yellow is its power as an accent hue, its so strong and dynamic that you only need a little bit to make an impact.

All of that is a long-winded intro to this gorgeous image of Reese Witherspoon on the cover of Vogue. I literally cannot tear my eyes away from this cover, forget what she's wearing, that yellow and red combination is beyond belief. Soak it in:
